It was a great shoot, I was just upset that the ammo guy didn't make it... I ran out of .223 way too early!

Rick did you get the 7.62x39 I left for you?

Here is a little video footage I did for Mike to post on his CETME board.  Nothing too spectacular but Mike wanted some video of his MARS CETME before it headed into the safe forever.  Very rare and nice weapon that MARS.

Another missed one, at least I get the highlights.  Thanks Larry and Rick for providing the media.  Gunbert, seems like you're the celebrity =)

Hey guys,

I had a great time at my first DBS.  It was good to meet so many of you.  Thanks to everyone who let me shoot their weapons.

Gunbert - I didn't find that buffer detent you needed.  I checked my parts stash and couldn't come up with one.

Rick - Did you get that trigger job working on your AR47?

Well, I will definitely see you guys next month if not sooner.

Take care,

Bolo

Thanks for looking, Bolo.   I pirated the one I needed out of my Colt so I can complete my trade.  Small AR parts can be a bitch to find sometimes.

Did you try anybody locally?  It would be nice if someone stocked those parts here rather than ordering and waiting a couple of days.

BTW, I remember Larry selling me a cotter pin for my firing pin at the last DBS.

Larry  hooked me up with the spring I needed, but he didn't have the buffer detent.  I suppose I could try Machine Gun Kelleys, but I really don't want to pay $5 for a $1 part.

I thought we had a local RRA dealer? I'm about to place a small parts order (extras) through bushmaster (maybe, still shopping). Shipping is insane alot of times for small orders so I might wait till I need some other stuff or find it locally..

Bolo: I swapped the hammer spring back to a stock hammer spring and Rick's ar47 started running better. But the trigger still isn't as good as it could be, but it felt a little bit lighter. I'm still lost as to why it would bind HARD like it was, then go together eisily again afterward.

Probably not, but it's still fun to go.

I'm bringing a coworker who's never owned a gun before and wants to buy one, so I'm there to give him a hand and make sure he gets a decent price.

Ahh.. People say there aren't and deals there, but it seems like other have found them.. Like Rick and his Mak90. Oh well, I gotta pick up a detachable carry handle for my new flattop upper I bought and some small AR parts (dfender, new chamber brush, some springs and pins, and some more cleaning supplies).. And resist buying an AK.. That last one will be tough. :[

I hope that dick who charges $35 for a transfer at the CH shows isn't the one working this show, make sure before he buys.
