I was watching a show on the Travel channel about the best hotel pools in Vegas. I'll be down there later this month and would like to visit the pools at Mandalay Bay, Caesar's, Bellagio, etc. Do you have to be a guest at the hotel to use their pools? Is there a guard checking hotel keys or a keyed access door?

I know at Mandalay you cannot access the pools without a key, guards keep guys like Gunbert out.

I just had a room at Treasure Island and it didn't seem as if anyone was watching who was using the pool, I'm pretty sure anyone can access that one.

Bob, I was wondering if you would even have any interest in swimming after being around pools all day.

I suppose that you might notice the more technical things about casino pools like the chlorine levels or the water being too wet.

I figured Mandalay would do something to keep the riff-raff out. Their wave pool looks amazing.

Where would the locals stay if they could choose between Harrahs, the Orleans, and the Gold Coast. My friends have comp rooms at those three places. I'm leaning towards Harrahs because it is on the strip.

I had a friend stay at Harrah's a few months ago and I checked it out, the inside of the casino is really nice and the room was beautiful. I stayed at the Gold Coast like 12 years ago so I don't know what it is like now.

I do know what is in pools and it would take alot to get me into one. Puss, poop, piss, semen, dead skin, blood...get the idea? Have fun and don't swallow too much water.
