I will be out there wolf but I wont be doing a lot of shooting with the DBS on Saturday. I think I will bring some cameras and shoot some pics. See ya tomorrow.

I was there from 3 to @4:30......Where was everyone? It was not a total loss though, Had the pleasure of visiting with "Pete". It would not have been so bad if he didn't insist on bugging me while I was letting my 10 year old son shoot from the bench for the first time.....oh and I almost forgot, my wife really enjoyed the f bombs and his description of finding a guy on range 2 last week dead with a 9mm slug through his head. What an ASSHOLE!!!
Frank seems pretty much cool for a guy living in a shipping container at a gun range......Pete worries me. |

I would've shown but my car was in for servicing. At about 8, I stopped pushing carts in the Costco parking lot and turned my ears west to see if I could hear any shots.
All I heard was the guttural roaring of Bob's infamous monster.

We saw a killer spider and left at about 11:30, it could have killed us both if it wanted to. I took this pic of him!

According to Pete, Not suicide but an accident. I guess the guy was clearing a jam or somthing and capped himself while shooting alone. Believe me, Pete's description was far more "detailed". Wife and son loved it! |

I alwyas miss out! Any of this spooky stuff caught on video or do I have to rely on eyewitness accounts? Sounds like Blair Witch Project but with guns and ammo!!!!

In all honesty, that arachnid is damn lucky I didn't have a loaded mag for my AR on me at the time. |

It was smokin' a cigar, it looked at us and said "What in the hell are you starin' at chumps?" We said "Nothin'" and he just kept walking into the desert. The wildlife at Desert Sportsman is pretty amazing, if it ain't monsters it's killer giant spiders...what will be next?!

When are you guys going out again? I still have to sight in my AR. Plus I need to blow more ammo on my .45 and .40 pistols to "break 'em in". Maybe those creatures just need a dose of 00 buck or slugs- I'll bring that too. To quote Mr. Burns, that would be "EXXCELLENT"

Hey guys, I received my new member packet to Desert sportsman last month and it was my understanding that every month the lock code changes and members are informed of the change in the monthly newsletter, however I can't find it (the lock code)in my june newsletter. I don't expect anyone to post the code just please tell me what page it is on.
