Damn, thought they'd be at cost "cost". Those are LEO prices in this area, out west, it get's even cheaper.

No O-fence meant Mark, but those are pretty much the same prices on the 17 and 19 that Sportsman's Warehouse in New Berlin is getting.

I think you are forgetting a couple things in your price.
SW G17: $499.00 plus 1.055% sales tax and I'm sure they charge at least $10 for the background check turns $499.00 into $536. Thats a savings of $44. |

The background check would apply to both transactions, but IIRC, they can't charge ST on it. I did, however, forget about sales tax. Sales tax on the $499 would be $25.45 (5.1%), so your actual savings would be $31.79  My mistake. |

The $25 FFL fee generally includes the background check for my normal FFL.

I can get for $20 more "$470" directly from my local dealer. so with shipping and $25 transfer fee its not a deal for me, Plus if i do my job well might even be able to get him to throw in a third mag
Of course that is before BackG and Tax but heck Id rather support the local guy AND get to see and handle the gun I will be getting |

Not sure how this price rates for the 19, but I bought mine at the local NAPA Autoparts store, which also happens to be a gun dealer
 . I like to support the local guys, especially if they have good prices and don't talk gun counter BS. Price was $499, no background check fee, just tax at 5.5%. $526.45 out the door, new 3rd gen w/ 2-15rd mags.
