Holding off on a vote till I'm more sure of things. 90% sure to go at least for one day. Would like to do two days, but not sure yet. We could do either carbine or handgun for one day. Or each for a half day. Or one each day for the two day thing. Choices, choices.

That'd be March 12, the day after Cold-Weather Carbine.
Link Posted: 1/24/2006 4:43:51 AM EDT
I think either day should be fine for me.

You got to travel for these.

But they are worth the road trip, even not including the shooting they are worth it just to hang out with the crew. The shooting is just a bonus.

Id hit the poll, but right now it looks like I might have the whole weekend off, if thats cool if I can come out and play.

All depends on family crap ( mom has been in and out of the hospital)

Let me know if I can attend this without having taken any of the De classes before.

BC, just wanted to give you an update. Some stuff came up for me that weekend and I have to be out of town, so I don't think I can make this shoot.

I'll be at the cold weather carbine this weekend though.

Guys, we are working on booking a show at Edge O' The Dells, preceded by charring of fresh steer meat, and followed by much consumption of cold beverages and things. I'm kind of hopin git lands on this weekend....it would be almost TOO much fun for one weekend!!!

I'll post when it is final, maybe we can have a shoot followed by an ARFCOM party? The venue has NO cover, and it's a HOPPIN' place!

Bump for TommyT and None, because evidently a tacked thread with a poll isn't high profile enough.

Ok, now I might be able to attend.
I won't know for sure yet, but it depends on weather or not a friend needs my help that weekend.
When I find out I'll let you know.
So, I am a maybe at this point.
I might also see if I can get my wife to come along too.

I'm in for Saturday - on shift Sun, and used one of my last "in a hurry" trades to attend the CWC class last weekend.

That made me chuckle!! :-)

Guys, we have a show booked that Saturday, so I can't make it. That is a big bummer.

Stan, I may just wind up calling to see if we can shoot during the day when we book that show in the Dells........

I feel like John Kerry flipping back and forth, but I talked to the Boss and decided Saturday is the day since it looks like the majority of ya will be there Saturday. She has to work, but not till like 7PM Saturday night.

I'm angling for a way to make it.
Wife is scheduled to work Saturday. We only keep one car and the bike in Milwaukee.
She needs the car and it'll be too cold for me to ride the bike 2.5 hours each way.

Hoping to:
1. Rearange her schedule and both attend.
2. Arrange alternate transportation for her, so I can take the car.
3. Hope that PM, Drawcut, or someone from this area finds a way to make it and can take me as cargo; sharing gas expense.

Pretty much in that order.
What sort of start time were we looking at for Sat?
Link Posted: 3/20/2006 4:04:15 PM EDT
Dang it! I've completely missed this thread since it was tacked.

Anyway, I won't be able to make it. Sorry, T-J. I'd have given you a ride if I could.

DC, I need to get you that HT.

TJ, If you can stay from Fri afternoon until Sun eve, I can give you a ride.

TT and none, I'll be in Madtown around noon on Fri. Lunch again?

BC, IM OTW.

Could you fit a couple more abbreviations in that post? I feel like I'm back in the nuke plant.

No hurry on the HT. I'm planning on being at the range clean up 4/1.

Works for me. Give me a push when you're local and through with your work. None's gonna need to hang fire 'til he knows his schedule that day.

Gyros on State Street??

Sounds like none, FMD and I are donig the gyro thing. How tight is your lunch schedule? Anywhere near State st?

Anyone else gonna be around Madison Friday?
Link Posted: 3/22/2006 2:47:46 PM EDT
I'm on E. Johnson St. My lunch schedule can be pretty flexible. I'll call Thursday afternoon or Friday AM...
Link Posted: 3/22/2006 4:23:10 PM EDT
I need some carbine practice. What day is pistol, which is rifle? Trying to narrow down my schedule...

We're pretty unstructured G. I'd say we'll be stacked on Saturday, so that would be the day.
Link Posted: 3/23/2006 8:32:38 PM EDT
I'm trying to be out there Saturday afternoon. Otherwise it'll be Sunday.
