I live in the Auburn/Kent area and I've been doing some research on the GMU's but it's kind of hard to find solid info on where to go that isn't private property or permit required. Plus it seems like the places that allow hunting by permit only, the permits are sold out. Can someone recommend a good spot?

Wrong side of the state but cheney gmu is an easy mule deer doe.

I have been hunting the Mashell, South Rainier and Storm King units during Modern Friearm. So far it has been a very disappointing season. I have only been seeing a couple doe a day on average.

I'd also recommend the onX Hunt app. It's a map app with public and private land ownership info

Got the Onxmap. Does anyone know if the roads are mostly car worthy? or do I need a 4x4?

What roads? Most DNR lands are gated.
