Well, dont know why that last thread got locked, all we are trying to do is help out a fellow patriot.
Anyway, I thought he might be better off with a 10/22 rifle instead of his SKS, he writes back the following:

Sarge, Good call on the .22, but our team has that covered. One guy has as his primary a Glenfield .22 semi auto. It will feed longs, shorts and LR in the tube which will make ammo availability a non issue when the SHTF. My team is all outfitted with East German rain camo rucksacks to carry our extra .22 ammo. I can fit at least 30 40rd mags in there, you know the clear ones, so i can see how many bullets I have left. All those mags and I still have room for my pork rinds, slim jims, and natural light. You real national guard guys should get some Rain camo rucks too. They are great quality and you can get 5 for 19.99 at most of the good gear stores. What do you use for commo? We use CB's for our inter squad radios and HAM as our long range commo. Sure the blue hats can listen in but we use code words. That way they don't know what we're talking about: "The chair is against the wall. The chair is against the wall. John has a long mustache. John has a long mustache". See? anymore help?

Tell your friend to join the NG, they'll take anyone.

My "little" militia friend also inqiured about squad auto (SAW) and crew served weapons. I did'nt think the militia could support this requirement and thouht they should concentrate on several squad marksmen, but he wrote back:

Sarge, My team has a guy with a job and he has one of those turn crank things, like a Hellfire mounted on a MAK-90. We modified it to take a 100 round Madsen mag. It serves as our squad automatic. Sometimes we can get off several 3 round bursts of hot surplus 7.62 before it tears the rim off the brass.

Come on, those fake e-mails were funny right?
Link Posted: 4/1/2006 11:16:37 AM EDT
Well, here is the last e-mail from my militia aqaintance. I gave him my opinion on getting in shape and loosing a little weight. You know, you cant fight tyraney if your a fatass! He responds:

Sarge, I know, I know. I don't worry about me carrying more ammo. I've been working out again on my excer-bands and walking Old Blue once a week, so I should be GTG for humping the boonies with a full load out of ammo. As far as the MA class, I checked into Master Mo's Taekwondo school, but the $25 a month for lessons is too much. Better off using that for ammo right?
As far as assaulting the JBT's camp. I hear that if you put the firing pin in upsidedown in an SKS that it will slamfire into full auto. I'll try that out then with the fixed 30 round mag and rock an' roll all over those tyrants.

Hey, I saw the pic awhile ago, and thought nothing of it.... then Chelleshooter came in and asked if I saw it. Turns out I hadn't looked at it closely enough to notice the "small violation".

Question is, why she was looking so closely....

(I'm SO gonna pay for this post!)

Just got this from a former NG member. He washed out of Basic/AIT as a cook and joined the local militia. Seems he needs some help, and well, there is not much milita help I can offer:

Sarge, I was wondering if you all could help me with my load out as a recent member of the Washington unorganized Militia. Now, this isn't airsoft, this is the real deal.

Right now I have an SKS with a Choate stock and bipod with a Leapers 3x9 scope ( I am my teams' designated marksman). I have a 30 round Zytel mag attached for breaking contact. For fixed security or food gathering I have a Mosin 44 available for added accuracy.

I normally carry 100 rounds on patrol ,but would bump that up in a SHTF scenario, up to 150. I carry a Bryco 380 in a tactical drop holster and a survival knife in a sheath on the left of my pistol belt. Being a size 48 waist I still have plenty of real estate to fit more gear on. I carry my ammo in a pair of E German clip pouches.

The only other team gear I have to carry is the Commadante's beer and the tripod for the cooking pot. Okay, so what else should I have?

Can any of yo militia dudes help out this fine american?

Well, only until the next election. And you can guarantee I'll vote for someone else. Besides wasn't it you drysiders that laughed at us wetsiders about electing the bitch anyway.

This is the internet. So no talking with 25mm here. I'm a F--king bastard not a Biotch. get it right next time.

For the record, the Air Guard has to wait to go home before posting on ARFCOM on UTA weekends.

Guess the Army side of the house has nothing to do.

Where is Badseed to help defend against people being lumped into a category because of the organization they belong to?

Well, it helps to be an E7 and it was lunch time. I was working on NCOERs all morning and needed a break. Anyway, the Air Guard drills are only from 0900 to 1500 anyway, and you can live without the internet for 6 hours. BTW, I'm still working tonight with the First Sergeant at the armory.

JSbuncha puts forward alot of effort to pretend he's "hard", but whenever he looks at his dress uniform he knows....never been nothing but a support pouge.

But it's OK! We need support pouges too!

BTW-Looks like I didn't miss a damn thing.....

My regards to the First Shirt- Have an extra Alaskan for me.

And let's not get into how about half of the deployed NG soldiers didn't have our votes counted because of being post makred a day late in Germany. Not like we got the damn things early enough or anything. And I'm sure it wold have been so hard to have some sort of special exemption passed to count them for the state elections. But then with the court handing her the election, what would she have had to gain by that, other than an excort out of the mansion.

Spent this weekend getting two UTC's LOGDETs squared-away for a mobility exercise. Building 463L pallets to go nowhere rules! Not.

What's this dress uniform you speak of?
