LEWIS COUNTY - Four people died in a one-car wreck on snow-covered Washington 6 between Pe Ell and Frances, the Washington State Patrol reported early Thursday.
The driver, William Albert Dubois, 69, of Raymond, and passengers Cathy Barnum, 62, of Raymond, and Tammie Barnum-Sands, 34, of South Bend, were found dead in a Cadillac Eldorado shortly before 11 p.m. Wednesday. Moriah Sands, 6, of South Bend, was pronounced dead after being taken to Willapa Harbor Hospital in South Bend, according to a patrol statement. A passing motorist reported a car off the road, and troopers found the Cadillac overturned with the passenger compartment fully submerged in standing water. The Cadillac was westbound about two miles west of the Lewis-Pacific county line and 85 miles southwest of Seattle when it went off the slush- and snow-covered rural two-lane road, overturning several times as it tumbled down a 60- to 70-foot embankment, according to the patrol statement |

Kind of a sad deal. Three generations attending to the funeral of a fourth.
The funeral has been delayed, and they are making arrangements to bury members from four generations of one family, on one single day. (A friend of my family knew all four of the people who died last night) |

We've heard the same. Great Grandma died earlier this week. Grandma, mom, and little girl all die with Granpa. Four generations of women in one family, in one week. Horrific.

I had heard to reports of where it happened, "MP22" and "approximately 2 miles from the county line".
When I drove from Pe Ell to Lebam today, I couldn't really figure out where they went off, but it was snowing pretty good. Either way, just sad.

Sweet Jesus, what a way to go for all four of them, I just hope they were all dead before setteling in the standing water.......
.that is one way I would defenately NOT want to go.......drowning while trapped by your seat belt or in the case of the little girl a carseat upside down in a car. Our father who art in heaven.......
