In the past I have always been able to put my safe inside the house somehow or another, the new safe i am looking at purchasing will only fit in the garage. How many people keep a safe in the garage, and what do you do about temprature differences and moisture. Golden rod, dri-z-air etc...

Thanks

Mines in the garage, and I use a golden rod.  2 years and no problems yet.

I use a Golden rod heater and never had a rust problem even though the guns are cold to the touch when I take them out.

Mine is in the garage also. I use an eliminator plus instead of the golden rod. My guns are also cold to the touch. I've seen no problems. I use a VCI rod in the gun cabinet inside the house.

I don't know that I would really consider a safe in the garage, just from the security standpoint. It's usually easier to access a garage than the interior of the house.
