Made you look! Here's my new baby. I promise to take real good care of her and feed her nothing but cheap, imported milsurplus crap. Or maybe not.

That would look better if it were with mine,

Is it a DSA? I like the short gas system. When you going to put a folder on her?
Link Posted: 2/8/2006 7:14:20 AM EDT
All stainless DSA.... Folder, I haven't decided yet. Of course, I haven't SEEN any, either. We shall see. That, and more mags. Alway gotta have more mags.

I've got a VIRGIN DSA carbine, when you figure out what yours is, we could get them together to mate and have more little ones to populate the region
Maybe even start a "breeding club"

I really like the looks of your new BABY

Sweeeet, Jeff. We'll hafta chaperone those babies!

James had mags priced right at the show before last.

Too bad we have to wait until damn near summer to have another Puyallup show.

Way Kool!

Mine isn't quite a virgin anymore, but what the heck.
Do we want them to do a 3-way?
mebbe get some Fal pistols out of our breeding program?

Yeah, James is the man for mags. they work fine.
Link Posted: 2/8/2006 3:48:41 PM EDT
That looks eerily familiar. I shall see James at the first opportunity!

Sounds kinda kinky, but what the hay, if there are some pistols to come outta it it might be well worth it

I've got about 10 mags, but will 'prolly have to get somemore when I get my BAR-10T in a couple of weeks

I guess that AR-30 will have to wait?

Hey, I got my AR-10.
Link Posted: 2/10/2006 12:04:56 PM EDT
Hey, FF, howzitgoin'? The guy I bought the AR30 from is avoiding me, so I'm screwed until I get around to making a trigger for it. I'll just pretend the messed up finish is "character". Ya gotta bring the 10 over sometime!
Link Posted: 2/10/2006 6:32:07 PM EDT

This coming week I'm installing a 2" float tube on the AR10 (the tools are in UPS limbo but on their way) and then the following week I plan to install a Geisselle trigger in it. I have one of those triggers on a service rifle AR-15 and it's absolutely phenomenal. You need to try it.

Need trigger parts for an AR30?

Remember, you could still build a bolt gun in one of the 338 cartridges based on a normal full length action. You could then have the chamber cut to accept magazine length rounds which touch the rifling.

Say hi to Chester
