...man, this is SICK!
My 'puppy' going through her first 'heat'.
I've never had a Female Dog before ( at least none that I could remember the morning after the night before... ).
Just how long is this going to last with her bloody thing hangin' out all over the place...?
GOIKS.
Puh-leeze!

Reason #556 that I will never own a dog....

Now if I could get these two damn cats to die off early, I'd be set.

Our last cat 'disappeared'...she either got run over by a car; adopted by a neighbor; or ( my favorite )  turned into a VietNamese 'sammich'...
NO MORE CATS.

This 'dog' thing is wierd.

Yup, unless you're planning to breed her, get her fixed. It'll be less mess and fuss for you and the puppy. The neighborhood male dogs will leave her alone too.

If ya don't get them spay or neutered before they go into heat for the first time, many seem to keep the urge.

You should consider your pet to be "in season" for 21 days: 7 days coming into heat, 7 days in heat, 7 days going out. Though conception is most likely during the middle 7 days, Mother Nature doesn't always follow the rules. Confine your pet for the entire 3 weeks.

Is that in the Bible? ( should be... )

"Thou shall only go out of the house the week that you are NICE..."
