Uh, YEAH!
 My Best Friend of 36 years came through on a trade we worked out a couple of years ago. COMPLETELY set me up when we went to the Gun Shop...I thought we were looking at something for one of his Sons. The guy came out with a box that had a Desert Eagle .44 and accessories. I said, "Hey, that looks just like the one in the e-mail I sent you..." He says, "It is...except it's YOURS now..." 5 seconds later, he repeats himself... 5 seconds after that, I say, "You're $hittin' me..." HAW!!! He wasn't $hittin' me! I had a NICS 'delay' so I brought everything home except the serial #'d frame. It only has about 200 rounds through the gun. TOTAL SURPRISE. I'm flabbergasted. Here she is:

 The delays started when the 'CWP' went to a 'CPL' a few years ago. The last few guns I've purchased have been from the same shop, so I don't know the 'why' of the delay. That never used to happen. I got a brochure with phone #'s and www. to contact NICS and find a way to stop the delays. Of course, now I don't really need any new guns, thanks to Prospector!  But, just in case I change my mind...  Man, I'm on CLOUD 9 tonight!

He says the look on my face was priceless...and, I'm sure it was. I admitted that I must be blushing.
You should've seen the look on HIS face when he saw the look on mine... Old Friends...now, THAT'S priceless! BTW, CavVet, Prospector dropped off a coffee can full of fun for you at my place. IM me for details... That guy is FULL of surprises, isn't he?

I only wish that everyone could have seen BusMaster007 when he finally realized that, YES!! This IS the DE and it was now HIS! He was all red faced and grinnin' from ear to ear! Happier than a puppy with two peckers ya might say! Cheese and Crackers! Even the guys at the shop were really having a great time, after all they were in on the whole deal !!!!haveBut I just stopped by to say once again - GOTCHA! GOTCHA! GOTCHA! (BTW CavVet, BusMaster now has the .30 cal ammo for you cause I don't get down that way often enough...) The Wiley ol' Prospector |

+1 Yea I was wandering the same thing ? Hand it over, toss down a few  & call it a done deal. Perfectly legal / fast and what big brother doesn't know don't hurt him none.
