OK,
The Women of WA HTF Calendar is nearing completion and we need some assistance.

First of all we are leaning towards donating the proceeds to the Family Support Group on FT Lewis. However, I am not sure they even take donations. Anyone got some contact info on them?

Second of all, IF they do not take donations, we need some charity suggestions. I needs to have something to do with the soldiers deploying to Iraq and their families.

Thanks!
-Mac

How about the official Truck Drivers Who Hardly Got Any New Guns At All For Christmas Fund? I hear they spend 100% of receipts on firearms and accoutrements. No administrative costs, like food, shelter, or other wasteful expenditures. It's not the Red Cross, it's the Red Crosshairs.

How about (formerly Cco)Bco 1-161Inf family support group. There are atleast 4 members or former members of the company on here, Matt45, Torakan, Suits and myself.

I know individual units' FRGs can take donations ... they just can't solicit for donations. I don't know about the overall post/corps FRG, though.

Operation Homefront looks worthy, as does Operation Second Chance. Ft. Lewis Family Focus also has a few links.
