Concern rised with tide of cat burglaries

Those were the latest in a string of similar cat burglaries in Eastside and South King County neighborhoods that began last month.

Police from Newcastle, Renton, Covington, Maple Valley and the King County Sheriff's Office met Tuesday to swap notes about the cases. So far, they don't know if the burglaries are connected or whether one person or perhaps a group might be responsible.
