100-200-300-400-500 yard range in my backyard still on the back burner. :-) Anybody know someone that has access to a dozer? The $85 per hour would bankrupt me right now, but a more user friendly fee from a fellow shooter would help me out. RedMan* |

I split my time between Pullman and the farm which is about 70 miles West of Spokane. I have a 1,000 yard steel range at my home on the farm.

Moscow, ID, so close enough. Heck, for PT we run to Washington and back once in a while.
For you Spokane people, do you know of anywhere to pick up a stripped lower receiver? I called Dave's Guns, but they can't find the ones they have. Any other ideas? J |

I tried to post a reply to your question in the other post about this. When I went to submit it, my POS computer booted me. So, will try again. Have you tried one of the guns shows here in Spokane? There was a show here just last weekend. The next one is scheduled for Dec. 13th & 14th. You maybe able to locate one there without the hassles. Later, RedMan* |

Yeah, I didn't know about that show 'till it was too late. See, I have all the other parts sitting here on my floor waiting for a lower receiver, so I'm just trying to find one I won't have to wait for.
I know, I'm impatient, but it's my first AR and I want to play with it now! J |

CavVet: Its a decent range. It just runs along a road through one of our fields. I try to get out a shoot as much as I can but I am always at school in Pullman so I don't get home to shoot much.
j_gets: If you are looking for a stripped lower I would just get one from somebody on the EE (like EagleFirearms, RRA for $92) and have the Pawn Shop on Main street in Moscow do the transfer(they will do it for $20). I have had them do transfers before and it was a pretty painless process. |

I found out who the BN guys yet met over there were. The name Art ring any bells? There's a picture of him and the moose he shot on the wall of the Delta yard office in Everett. |

Well it was probably the pic I took as they did not have a camera.
I never did get a reply from him that he even received the pics. Tell him he still owes me guide fees.  And scream "HARVEST TIME!" in his ear. He hollered that seconds after he shot. |
