How many sessions are there, and how long are the sessions? And are they all in one week? Does it cost anything?

Goto Fred Meyers and pick up a copy of the Washington State Hunting regulations, (free by the cust. svc desk) in the back of it has a schedule by county of who and where and what number to call. They also say something about a Home Study aswell.

Home study?
"You may also learn more about the Home Study Program by looking at the hunter education web site. Please note that the Home Study Program requires discipline, time and individual motivation. It is not an easy alternative to a traditional class"

For your specific questions I see:
1)Students must attend ALL classes (generally four - six sessions)

2) Can't say from what information I've seen but with 4-6 classes needed I doubt it.

3)Everything costs right?

Way back when I took Hunters Ed back in MI it was a 2 day course, Sat & Sun; Saturday was all lecture, Sunday was the test and shoot 2 shots from a shotgun on the skeet range. I'm sure I still have that stupid orange card around someplace.
