Just wondering, what makes two weeks better than a month?
Considering the corona stuff? |

Quoted: I am off work for awile if anyone wants to get together to hike or shoot. View Quote You got a place to shoot? Are PGC ranges open during beer AIDS? These are important questions, because I just got the case of shit grade steel case ammo I ordered to do reliability testing on my PSA M4. |

Lol Target in Lancaster has a sparse selection of TP.

I think I mentioned the game lands 156? Off of 322. Trail/road is plenty wide and its relatively easy hiking.

Where did this week go? Tomorrow is the tentative date - does it suit anyone?

Quoted: How about the same place as before? If they closed the gate, we can just use the Game Land parking lot across the street - unless @DrRemulak has a better suggestion. Does 8:30 work for everyone? View Quote He was suggesting a different game land in the same area, but that place is also fine. I'd rather park at the game lands parking anyway. 8:30 is fine. |

I'm going to wimp out and play my medical card again. All of my follow up appointments have been cancelled and while I don't have any reason to think anything is wrong I'd rather not risk it right now until I get the all clear.

Unfortunately I think I am out too. With what I have been reading seems like staying home is best for me and my family. I will definitely meet up with you guys when this blows over.

Any particular dates work better than others? |

This corona AIDS appears to have been some clown shit.
Lets go hiking this weekend. I dont have any idea as to where, preferably somewhere we can open carry. |

Quoted: Money Rocks county park? View Quote That works for me. It would be nice to get a six mile hike on, which should be doable using the cockscomb trail twice plus a detour up around the iron horse trail. But I'm also not opposed to just getting out to get out with others instead and not worrying about time, weight, distance and so on. @brasscrossedrifles does that work for you? Let's plan on 8 AM at the parking lot unless anyone has strong feelings about hitting it earlier or later. |
|
Yeah, that works. I was going to suggest an earlier meet up until I realized how far away that is. So yes, I'll be there at 8.
I also not going to worry about weight or time. I've got some old owies that are a little aggravated from work, don't want to make them worse. |
|
I've never been there...just picked a place on the map in the area.

That might suck with a pack... See you guys then! |

I wish I had known sooner. I already had plans to go bushwhack and camp over night with my local buddies.
Next time I am down! Thanks for the tag Brandon_ |

Thanks for the tag Brandon_ View Quote It was a relatively spur of the moment thing. The important thing, IMO, is getting out there with friends, family and others, so you're doing it right. I'll try to give more notice going forward as things go back to normal. See you next time around! |

Keep me in the loop, I work this weekend but I'm open for a hike

We're planning to hold the next hike Saturday, July 11th. Location TBD.
