Lots of ammo @ the Monaca Rural King today. 223, 556, 308, slugs, shot, 9mm, 45ACP.
Prices were still too dang high though. But you need some, they have stacks. Decent selection of handguns, too. |

In general I've seen plenty of ammo around here again. But yeah, prices haven't come down with its resurgence.

The prices are not going to come down on ammo until people stop buying.
This exact same thing has happened on the past presidential Cycles since Clinton. |

Any of you guys have any preferred waterproofing companies? Ive been looking into baker or premier. Long story short, had a water main fixed last december but rerouted to our finished basement instead of the lower one to avoid destroying our front step. Fortunately insurance covered it, but our plumber didnt seal the hole up properly with hydraulic cement and we had a minor leak. Came back out and filled the block with freakin spray foam and ya cant see the hole from the inside now. Once the ground settled it was fine, until today. Now it may be just a sweating pipe since we dont run the ac down there unless we need to, but if its still coming in, ill be faced with either outsode waterproofing, or the normal interior french drain. Still going to keep an eye on it but we will def see soon enough. Im not fighting with the plumber at this point, we are about 7 months out from when he did this. Figured id see. All this rain certainly doesn't help either, but would rather fix it now vs down the road. Ill be pulling the baseboard molding so i can see if its seeping under our vinyl plank flooring, if not i think im good, but im on site now so going off what my wife has to say lol

Anyone feel a sonic boom within the past hour?
we heard a noise and the house shook. Neighbors were all outside looking around too. Thinking sonic boom, earthquake or underground mine explosion. This is in north central Washington county. |

I heard a few booms today.
Don’t recall the times, one I think before noon, the second maybe 6pm. Now it’s possible could have been a gate on a big dump truck closing hard on that one later in the day. I figured them for some sort of blasting west/south west of me. No ground shaking, *i am in northern westmoreland county It’s possible you could’ve heard some sort of meteorite / fireball entry. They will make a sonic boom. And we are on the tail end of the Perseid meteor cloud. |

You could try Federal Firearms in Collier Twp. They mentioned to me at one time that they were set up to spray. Not sure what their work is like though.

I only ever had Pittsburgh Cerakote do a few things for me.
I’d say still ask. Maybe you could get your rail done quicker. It’s possible they do batches by color, so if it’s something simple like a rail and depending on what color you are asking for, could get done sooner. They did good work for me. One was a DD lite rail for an AR-308 that I got used and had a horrendous dip job. But it was the only one I could find at the time. The other was my Saiga 12. And |

Any of you worthless bums got an FFL and take a package from an individual?
C&R OK as it's older than 50 years. ETA better yet, anyone got an old breaktop Iver Johnson or H&R or close to it in 38 S&W you want to get rid of? I MIGHT consider a .32. 3-ish inch barrel. I turn 70 soon and want an old man's gun because I am officially becoming an old man. |

Wife got a cell phone alarm about the possibility of a tornado. I went outside and the wind started picking up, and then the rain. A LOT Of rain. We sheltered with wine, bourbon, and snacks. Power went out about 4 hours ago. On genny power now.

I'm considering putting a red dot on mine but don't know NUFFUN' about red dot sights. (MkIV 22/45) |

I’m looking for one of the chassis/hunting rifle hybrids like the sako s20 or the bergara b14 hmr rifles in .308 or 6.5.
Any recommendations on shops in the area that might have one or both in stock? Or something else in the category I need to look at? I’m in southern butler, the closer the better, but I’ll go wherever |
