Sorry, I had a pre-ban AR180, side folding stock, I just got rid of it a month and a half ago.

Give Lock's a try,(Frankford Ave) they get stuff in all the time.

Some of their stuff is high. But you can find some deals. I picked up a HK P7 (PSP) in the box, test target two mags. Very minty, for $765.

I stop in like once every other month, and look around.

surplus city in feasterville has a colt hbar with flash hider and lug for $1100 in good shape.He always has stuff in the back, just let him know what your looking for.They are very honest and have competitive prices.I personally have bought about 4 prebans from him as well as a ton of other guns and ammo.Also awesome supply of popular ammo calibers in case lot.Definiftely worth the trip!I ALWAYS go to rob first,he is real cool and he is the owner.good luck. If you come across a preban polytech underfolder with spike bayonet in your travels please post were you saw and how much.

I picked up a Preban Colt at Locks little over a year ago for $800. I don't think they fully understood what was considered an assault rifle.
I've been back a few times since then and it seems they have learned because they had 2 rifles exactly like mine priced just under $1500.
Last time I was there they had at least 5 preban AR15s of varying price and configuration.

I went to Locks they had 2 9mm ar's for $1,650 and 1 green label 9mm for $2,400 and 1 preban carbine for $2,500. Today I went to Surplus City they didn't have any prebans and I just got back from Classic Pistol and no luck there either. This sucks!

Wow you pretty much covered all the bases.I was in your postion a couple months ago. I was looking for a fairly priced .223 AR, with no luck.I eventually settled for a colt MT6400c postban M4 from surplus city.Even though its not preban its still an awesome weapon.You may just want to pickup something that has potential in case the AWB sunsets. just my two cents

I dont know your budgetbut if you have to have a preban try don's guns on 202 in montgomeryville, and gun outfitters is just down the street, and if you are real desprate try targetworld on butler pike. I know they WILL have prebans, however you'll be rolling the dice when it comes to the price. good luck man!

How about Targetmasters on RT202, Chaddsford 610-459-5400 I was there the other day and they did have a few preban colts, not sure exactly what models. The owner Tom has close friends at COLT, they can probably get anything you want.

You can try the KOP/Valley Forge show coming up on June 14-15.

If I was going on Saturday I'd give you a report but I won't be there until Sunday.

Is anyone else going? It's a tough one since it is Father's Day.

I'm almost certain that Targetmasters can get you Colt pre-ban lowers just ask them.

I was at Targetmaster yesterday and they have a Colt 20" H-Bar #6700 that I like, for $1,050 thats a little high isn,t it, I was thinking more like $900

I do like buying Colt brand AR15's

yo mikepenn33 I went to surplus twice this week and was at locks on thursday. They have the same stuff as last week. I can't belive how hard its become to find a preban around here lately. Dammit I cant even find a Global trades or Arsenal Inc. AK anywhere.I am always looking for a polytech underfolder with spike bayo. Maybe someday we will get lucky, If I see anything cool out there I'll let you know!

mikepenn33 I saw a clean preban colt sp-1 for $1499 at archery and gun outfitters on RT.309 in Montgomeryville. If I recall you were looking to spend about $1400. I dont know if you were interested in an sp-1 but I know its a colt preban so you can put any upper on it. Well good luck, I hope this is close to what you need. Adios

556 sniper, i just picked up a pre-ban at archery and gun outfitters on 309.. those guys are so friendly. they gave me an awesome price. 1400 when all was said and done. they also threw in a free gun case and lots of rounds. i think i got their last pre-ban though. but they show up often around there. targetmasters is asking like 2400 for pre-bans. i think they've been handling too much lead.

Hey mikepenn33, Just wanted to let you know that Boyers Hardware in Slatington Pa. had a preban in their gunshop as of last Tuesday. I don't know what brand, but it had a bayonet w/ it all for $899.00.
I was on the hunt for a DPMS A22 at the time and didn't pay much attention. Across the bridge in Walnutport about three blocks away on the same street is Keifers Gun Shop. He had quite a few black rifles and thats where I found my new A 22. Good Luck
