HI.

Im flirting with the thought of moving to arizona, and i am over 18 but under 21, so the private party transfer thingy on handguns would be very interesting.

How likely is it that i would find the gun that id like to buy (usp tactical / glock 21)? and how do you find people selling?

Thanks!

You can often find people willing to do FTF transfers on any of the usual boards...arfcom, hkpro, etc.

Its fairly easy to find a gun to buy FTF . Just check the EE and the other site, but the other site seesm to have a brisk market...

I do belive it is illegal to sell a hand gun to a non-az resident.

with that said look at craigs list PHX.

Great place to do a sting OP.

another thing; I see on packing.org that the legal age is 21 to get a ccw. is this the same everywhere in AZ?

Because in california its the same way, but some counties have a agelimit of 18.

Yes to get a  CCW permit you must be 21, but you can open carry at 18.

ok, thanks alot. is it open carry everywhere you could carry concealed, or does it have more restrictions?

I think the same restrictions apply all around, I'm not really sure though.

Same restrictions:

No bars, military/fed instalations, nuke plants, within so many feet of a poling place on election day, secure side of an airport.  I might have missed a couple.
