... Yup, it's him. This photo is dated. That is the "lobby" of the old Cavalry Arms factory, and he once worked P/T for AZEX Arms next door. Around that time, he pulled a stupid stunt by dipping his hand in a vat of hot, chem treating liquid. |

Actually, the story is much less impressive, like his attention to instructions.
He was parkerizing some stuff and the tank was hot (about 190F) and he had some thick chem gloves on and was trying to retrieve a small part he had dropped in the tank off the wire hangar he had made for it. Hot park solution spills over top of glove, glove holds solution against hand, VOILA! 2nd degree burn. It didnt scar badly either, he's young and heals well. D. |
