Hey all. I grew up in cleveland ohio. Currently I am living in Virginia Beach( I serve in the U.S. Navy). I am planning on takin leave next month for a trip home. According to packing.org I am able to carry my pistol on a permit from Va. Can anyboby verify this.
On another note will I be able to carry over my permit, from Va, when  get out of the service and come back home? As of right now ohio will not grant me a CHP because of a marajuana possession charge from 6 years ago.  Thanks for the feedback.

A Virginia license will be valid in Ohio.  However, if your VA license loses its validity due to the move, then it will not work for Ohio.  Ohioans can carry on out of state licenses, if necessary.  Visit www.buckeyefirearms.org and www.packing.org for more.

Another alternative, get a Florida out of state license which then would also be valid in Ohio.
