Working, we lost an employee and have been swamped with work. Only made it out shooting twice so far this year and once was to renew my CCW, which as of Jan 1 2017 you can only apply 30 days out to renew and there is about a 60 day back log, so no carrying for me right now

Wrenching on my Jeep and running spreadsheets to determine if I can retire tomorrow of I have to keep working until I'm 62.
Celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary in a couple of weeks so I'm poor as a church mouse. 
I have a speed sensor and a brake switch to adjust ... casualties of the chaos. |

Today was my San Fran day. I'm normally there working by 4am.
The tools 
Bmws don't temp me anymore but this one is pure sexy. 
It had a little ding . 
I got done around 9 and headed over to mini. |

I've been accumulating more house stuff to move to our second home in Arizona next weekend. Then get to spend the weekend there without the kids to celebrate our 11th Wedding anniversary.

Work, mostly.
Did just join the dark side. Bought a G17 to use a Cola Warrior. Pick it up the day before I leave to go. Haven't fired a Glock in 23 years.

It never fails to amaze me how fucked up our tax system is.
Tonight I wrote out checks to the state and federal governments. Anyway here's the dent of the day.

The wife and I are working on new installs of Windows, doors, bathrooms remodeling and garage door. The septic just cost us, found out it was a root problem in the piping...Ready to jump in the RV and get some where relaxing.

Planning my retirement from active duty and move to AZ.
40 years of CA has run its course. Between writing a check to the Franchise Tax Board every year, the latest gun laws, and the cost of buying a home that meets my expectations WRT square footage and location - it's time to move on, literally. Plus, buying a lower cost home in Temecula/Murrieta that would require me to sit in traffic for over an hour each way is no longer an acceptable way to live life for me. |

Finally after being out bid on 3 homes I got one. ( yes I'm that cheap and won't give up future profits)
