Have to head down there this week for a business trip and was wondering what to do when I have a bit of downtime.  Where is a good place that locals eat?  I'm gonna be staying on Biscayne Blvd so anything close by would be ideal.  How's the weather?

wx is always hot as shit....

as for places to go, south beach is always a crowd pleaser, but can be pricey.  coconut grove is also good, but stay in the main area- venturing out of there can be dangerous (the hood).  Down by the water in Coconut Grove is a resturant called The Chart House.  Perhaps the best sea food in the city that you dont catch yourself.

If you want to shoot- trail glades range is WAAAAY out west of town.  Get on 8th street and head west for a LONGASS distance.  The range will be on the right, about 1/2 mile east of the casino.  Past there is Miccosukie (spelling?) casino- kind of a shady joint, but not a bad place to go for games/food.  If you really want to do the casino thing- there is a brand new one up north toward Ft. Lauderdale.  The seminole hard rock is a really nice new place to go with lots of entertainment/food/gaming.  Take the turnpike north, and you will see it on the right side of the road.  You'd have to be Terri Schiavo to miss it.

Have a good time, and stay safe!

lol...thats just plain wrong...but thats funny, i don't care who you are.

wingnut......you close to South Beach &  Coconut Grove, both are kinda cool for visitors. If you hit up the grove, goto the Sandbar & Grill, i know most of the people who work there, most are good people, but if your walking around the grove and see "Domino Park" that means turn around quick
