My son is USCG.  He is going to be stationed there for 4 months before he starts A school in NC.

He will be at the airbase on Roosevelt out by the airport.

He needs to find an apartment, furnished if possible, in the area of the base.  He is a cleancut guy, not a big partier or trouble maker.

Rick I am in the same program as your son. What is his name. I know of acouple people on base that are renting out rooms. There are plenty of apartments around the area. He needs to talk to the housing guys up at admin and they can usually set people up with everything taken care of for around 900 mnthly. Thats rent, electric, water, cable. I lived in River Side Apartments up in Tarpon Springs. It is Section 8 housing but everyone who pays the lower rate must follow rules which makes the neighborhood wonderfull to live in. I had a 3 bed 2 bath for 925.

Let me talk to my wife tonight and see if she wouldnt mind him staying here. My house is sorta under contruction but our guest bedroom is really nice and its a good size.
