Unknown to most of the FDCC membership & participants, the FDCC has made a $100 contribution to the Friends of The Osceola for the construction of handicapped accessable shooting postions at the Lake City Range where we normally hold our shoots. This is just to let those folks who chip in a few bucks at the matches to cover expenses know where some of the funds go. It bodes well for our public image and our image to the range managment.

We haven't passed the hat or shook the can at a match lately but those of you who come to the matches, please keep in mind that the targets & materials cost money.

As pointed out in another post here, we will be co-sponsering a 3 gun match. Think about this folks, a bunch of guys with evil black assault rifles coming together to raise money for a good cause. Kinda helps blow that shitty image that VPC & politicrats like to paint of gun owners especially of assault rifle owners. Contrast it to the image that Harley riders have today, not your daddys Hell's Angels anymore.

Now more than ever with the AWB looming organizing & particpating in these positive events & publicizing them can make a difference for all gun owners.

Way to go guys! - Showing that "Gun Owner" and "Good Citizen" are not mutually exclusive terms.

Well said Chuck....

The key is everyone coming out, supporting these type of events and positive media coverage.
