The Colt 9mm carbine was made in August of 1995. I was told by Cindy at Colt CS that in the first year of production after the ban, the ATF did not require the lower receiver to be marked with the LEO only roll mark. She also said that there was only one run of 9mm carbines that Colt did before the roll mark was required.
The Sporter gray carbine comes with the original blue label box, which has a stamp on the opposite end that says "LAW ENFORCEMENT". The box isn't perfect but it is all there. I will be shipping this package with another box covering the original. There is also the original accessory kit with the unopened cleaning kit, owner's manual, unopened sling, and two unmarked 20rd 9mm mags. The lower has a standard .250" front pivot with the double screw. There is a sear block. The upper is the standard A1 9mm with A1 suppressor and lug. I would say judging from the marks on the carry handle the carbine had some kind of a scout rail. The carbine has been shot, but it doesn't look like very much. The lower has a couple of nicks at the bottom of the magwell from mag incertion and a small wear spot from the T handle.
It would seem to me that this carbine is very rare. It sat somewhere for a long time. I would think it would be very hard to find an unmarked LEO carbine with the box and all the accessories in this good a condition. I wish to trade for a Lakeside Guns LM-7 belt feed .22lr upper with a spare barrel. I would sell out right for $2,000.00 shipped. Payment by two $1,000.00 PSMO is prefered. I'll take other MOs or a personal check but will hold shipment until funds clear my account. I will take Paypal but that will be $2,070.00 in my account. The email button is the best way to contact me.
