FS - or a possible FTF trade in West PA
This is one for the blued-steel
and walnut fans;
An original Auto-Ordnance Corp of West Hurley, NY - “a Westy” - 1927A1C Deluxe semi-auto “Thompson” built from back before they were bought out by Kahr Arms.
This is a legal, semi-auto "1928 commercial TSMG" with finned barrel, vertical foregrip, "Lyman" ladder sight, and Cutts compensator with “bullet” logo.
Yes, I used a bit too much white chalk and now it's all over the place...
Has beautiful walnut, comes with 2 30rd stick mags (an A-O-C Bridgeport and a Seymour Products) and 1 black-parked 20rd (AOC Bridgeport) stick mag that are all modified to work with the BATF-approved A-O-C semi-auto action
. These mags will no longer properly fit a REAL NFA 1928TSMG.
You also get 1 UNMODIFIED blued 30rd (Seymour Products) Thompson mag and 4 UNMODIFIED blued 20rd Thompson mags (3 AOC Bridgeports and a Seymour) that you can mod yourself with a Dremel.
Since these mags are unmodified, they wil still fit/function as-is in a REAL NFA 1928TSMG. If you want to make a buck, sell them seperately. Nice TSMG mags don't grow on trees. But...
This gun looks wicked badassz with 20rd sticks - like you expect a '21TSMG should look. Looks much nicer with 20's than with a drum to be honest.
And yes, all included stick mags are pre-ban - vintage - Thompson mags
for those of you in BAN STATES.
It also comes with a 50rd A-O-C "L drum" THAT REALLY WORKS, and the original Klinton-era-ban 10rd A-O-C "X drum" that was test-fitted but never fired. Consider selling off the "X drum" to a ban-stater to get some money back for ammo.
** The gun INCLUDES an installed “E-Z Pull" spring set, and the Kahr heat-treated bolt mod. **
Comes with original box and papers, shoots like a dream, great plinking fun at the range playing Dillinger or Ness when everyone else is shooting the same ol' same ol'..
$1325.00 or trade for??
I have tried RNL reloads, but only a few just to see if it works - it did. BUT - you really should not consider using lead rounds else you will foul up the Cutts with lead. It'll be a pain to clean.
CAVEAT EMPTOR #2:
The aluminum-cased Blazer that you might find here and there is OK with the stick mags - but do NOT bother in the drum. Stick with brass hardball in the drum for best results. Never did try the steel-cased Wolf stuff...
