For Sale: Like New (99%) Winchester Stealth .308, with Tasco 10x Super Sniper scope Leupold QRW 30mm rings and mounts. The Stealth is Winchester's answer to the PSS, and they did an eloquent job of answering. Suitable for any application requiring a rugged precision rifle, this is not your grandaddy's Model 70 by any stretch.
26" Heavy Barrel, HS Precision Kevlar/fiberglass graphite stock with a full-length aluminum bedding block. Matte finish, sling studs.
I do not have a trigger guage, but the trigger breaks cleanly, with little to no discernable creep. It has had only 40 logged rounds of Federal Gold Match, shoot one, clean, repeat, to break in. Far more accurate than I am.
The Tasco Super Sniper mil-dot scope...too much to say about it, SWFA has a good page on it, yes, they're selling it, but then, so am I.http://www.swfa.com/riflescopes/tasco/index.html BTW, don't shy away from it because Tasco went bankrupt, Bushnell bought them, and is making sure there is no interruption in warranty service. They're also going to make more of the Super Snipers, but it's going to be a couple of months, so this is a good chance to get your hands on a tough, well made, Mil-contract scope. In equally good shape as the gun, almost new, with manual, box, and original scope cover, as well as Butler creek flip up scope covers.
Has Leupold low 30mm QRW rings, and two piece Leupold QR mounts.
Considering my price for the rifle at $739, $100 for the rings and bases, and $300 for the scope, my asking price of $1000 shipped to your FFL is a steal for the Stealth, Tasco, Leupold rings and bases.
I will consider trades for like new to new Rem. 700 LTR's-I wouldn't be selling this rifle if it weren't too much gun to pack around for a while comfortably, the LTR is the only rifle I'd even consider trading for. Email with any questions, thanks!
