Ok, here is a new in the unopened factory package set of Leupold QRW High RIngs (.980) part number 49858, matte finish. Go here for more info on them: http://www.leupold.com/products/mounts.htm Scroll down to the middle of the page.
I bought these for a friend and he didn't want them . . so up they go for sale.. .
These are good for mounting a scope on your AR15 flat top. I have a pair of these on my Bushmaster Vmatch Carbine flat top and they are perfect. I used them to put a Leupold VariX 1.5-4 illuminated reticle scope on the Vmatch. Provides the perfect clearance from the charging handle and puts the Lake City .223 round right on target shot after shot at 200 yards. Any lower rings will interfere with the rifle's action. I know 'cause I tried the Med's and they didn't work.
I like the QRW, because you can take them on and off the rail with the easy adjuster/release levers and it will still shoot where it did before you took them off. . . no need to re-sight it after putting them back on.
If its TEOTWAWKI and you're in a firefight with trolls that want to get your last stash of Spam luncheon meat and your optic fails, you can take the scope off quick and slay the beasts using your back up iron sights. . . .oh, did I really write that last comment. I was just kidding.
I'm sure you could use them for other optical applications too.
Selling on the open market now for $65, saw them on Sniper Country for $55.
How about $45 plus $5 shipping and they're yours ?

Ok. No more stuff to sell. . . so no more for sale posts from me anymore. . . unless you want to buy 1000 rounds of Lake City 5.56 mm FMJ. If you do, shoot me an offer. Its about 1.5 years old = been sitting in the bottom of my gunsafe nice and dry inside the house.
