ACCURACY SPEAKS Single-Stage Trigger
Description from Brownells:
Smooth, Clean-Breaking Trigger System With No Gunsmithing Required.
Drop-in parts with redesigned geometry add a cleaner-breaking, smoother-feeling trigger with a lighter pull to any AR-15. Installation is simple; requires no gunsmithing or permanent alterations. Speedlock hammer and disconnect are EDM-cut from solid stainless, then heat treated for durability. Trigger and hammer feature improved sear angle and notch with neutral engagement for lighter letoff and minimum creep.
The company (Accuracy Speaks) includes the trigger, hammer, disconnecter, disconnecter spring and complete instructions, and I am throwing in brand new trigger & hammer springs and the pins too.
This fits rifles with the .154" diameter hammer and trigger pins and won't fit the large pin Colt lowers.
BTW, some people have been writing in other forums that the AS hammer doesn't have a j-pin inside it to hold the hammer pin in place. Wrong. I've bought and installed three of these triggers (two bought from Brownells and one bought directly from AS) and they ALL have little pin-type springs inside the hammer to retain the hammer pin. There's even a definate little click as the hammer pin slides in place. I don't know what those people were talking about -- perhaps they never looked through the hammer's pin hole?
This trigger/hammer group has never been used in firing (or even dry firing), but it has been fit and tested and safety checked in both my Bushmaster and Rock River Arms lowers, and it is AWESOME. It breaks like glass, has zero play when the safety is set, and all the geometry and surfaces are perfect.
