Love to shoot this thing, just having a hard time keeping up with Ammo and I don't reload yet.
I've been told they take a standard .308 bullet.
these things are tack-drivers. This k31 I have I chose to scope because the bore was pristine and with Irons I was outshooting all of my other rifles (including my ARs).
I have a VOMZ 4x32 Pilade german post recticule scope that is rock solid, and has been zeroed. I messed a little with the position of the rings since last firing so the zero shouldn't be off too much.
The price new for the scope
is $110 from kalinkaoptics (the only distributor I've found online at that price. Freedomoptics might carry it I haven't checked.
The St. Marie mount is rock solid and can be removed and placed on another K31 keeping the same or close to the same zero. Go to swissrifles.com and they rave about it. I haven't shot at any targets pass 100 yards, but it was pretty easy after zeroing to punch out the bullseye of the target.
The mount new from brownells.com is $75.
