I have a TLE/RL II Pro that needs to go to kimber to be fixed, but you can have it when she comes back. I went at her with a mallet in a fit of rage and broke the front night sight (it's dead on, just doesn't glow.) Also dented the firing pin safety protrusion.
When they say DON'T HOLD THE GRIP SAFETY WHEN DISSASSEMBLING, they mean don't do it dammit!
I didn't realize why I couldn't get slide off till after I had banged it off the frame.
She's in perfect condition exterior and otherwise interior though. And when she comes back will be as good as new.
If you want to go through the repair process (might be warranty who knows) I'll let her go for 700$, if I do the repair process, 850$. But she must go back to kimber. the firing pin safety protrusion on the underside of slide is dented from when I forced the slide over the extended frame protrusion when I was dissasembling while holding grip safety!.
She's been NOTHING but reliable. VZ's thrown in for an extra 40$, brand new. Otherwise, the usual kimber black rubber grips.
