SOLD OUT - NO BACK ORDER LIST THIS TIME
Jan 1 2006 Update!
I have just spent a couple hours working on the tools and I am having some problems so no more people can go on the list for now. The stainless of this second set of tweezers is MUCH harder then what I had in the first set and I am burning up my drill bits and taps pretty darned fast. I am also having a problem in that the tweezer is thinner metal so when I tap them I have to be careful or I bend the little buggers and I have to toss them.
The people on the list will get tools but I am going to need to evaluate the price for any future sets depending on the tweezers as I am just killing my tools on this second set. The tools still look great but wow are they a bitch to get done!
I will start a new thread when I am able to sell more of these but I will not make a back order list this time as I am not sure where I will get the tweezers that are like the first ones I had...
ETA: I finished the 24 additional tools needed for this second set and all of those on the list... I had one of the 8-32 taps SNAP in these tweezers while tapping the holes... These are some crazy hard stainless and I have about half a dozen drill bits that need resharpening and three new 8-32 tabs that are now in the trash and about six tweezers that died in surgery... Pretty darned impressive for some whimpy little tweezers! Add to that 3.5-hrs and man I don't like those second set of tweezers I had bought... But they are done
Just wanted those on the list to know that you will get your tools when I get the payment but next round these are going to cost more if I do this again!

I got the tweezers! I paid for 2-day shipping to get them quick!
PMs have been sent to everybody on the backorder list. I have about 30-tweezers for this second batch but I will lose some due to the nature of drilling and tapping these so I expect that the amount I have to sell will be about 20 to 25 this round. I bought all the tweezers this second place had...
So, second list LIMITED to 25 until I get the tools all made!

I finally managed to find a small supply of tweezers that were the right size and shape to allow me to build some blind hole locators to help locate the front trunion holes of an AKM on the outside for a stamed receiver. These tools are made of stainless steel with a black oxide button head screw that is attached to align the circle to the location of the rivet hole through the front trunion. Following are some sample pictures:
Some of these tools have the screw favoring one side of the locator hole but if a hole is center punched using one of these tools the center punch will be over the hole in the front trunion. Once center punched and drilled with a small drill bit and working up to a larger one you can prevent egging of your front trunion holes by using one of these tools.
I am asking for $10/each for these plus $2 shipping. Please e-mail me if you want one PLEASE IM ME
. I have 15 of these to sell but I have another order in for more tweezers and I hope the new tweezers I am getting will work to make some more.1. Jeepcreep - PAID

I did that with one that I built and for the screw to line up with the hole it is best to drill bith sides and tap both sides with a spacer in place. Then the button head screw is added from the side that is last tapped. Otherwise the button head screw does not always line up enough to really allow the use of the tool. Doing them this way makes them more accurate and it is easy to center punch with the circle PLUS you can favor one side or the other if the pin is off a little on any given direction.
