I have several MCP welded 30's that run 100%

I have a couple CETME curved 30's that run 100%

I have one South African straight 30 that runs 100%

How does one identify a 30 rounder?

For example, what brand is the kind for sale at Florida Gunworks? I know the price is too high, but it is just an example of the type I have found several places.

I can't help you identify country of origin, etc. but I've got two straight 30-rounders that work fine. I think I paid $10-$15 each for them. I can tell you that they look pretty much like a stretched 20-rounder and are pretty heavy duty. I've seen some straight mags at gunshows that are made of much thinner steel. Those are more than likely junk.

I don't know who has thirtys but FGW does not. Gunshows and WTS boards will be yoour friend.

MCP on the left, CETME on the right.

Sorry, no pic my So African mag, but it looks like an elongated 20rd mag and can be had from whatacountry.com

MCP mags can be had from Gordon Miller

CETME 30's are kinda hard to find, but they're out there. Check the various gun boards

The one from whatacountry is the type I bought...so it's South African? Also, MCP is the Max Capacity brand right?

I really like the Cetme 30's and have been indeed watching for them. Yours seems to be nice and new.

They sell/sold two types, the SA one is the better.

Yes

Yours seems to be nice and new.

Ain't it amazing what a little spray paint will do.
