Has anybody here converted a BW5 FSA to an SBR? If so, what was involved?

I think it amounts to drilling or grinding in the right spot, removing a pin and removing the fake supressor.

I went the other way and started with a BW-89. SBR'ed it and then added a K grip and folding stock. I have been very pleased with it.

I did mine. The pin is on the bottom right lug of the three lug. I butchered the lug up a little drilling it out, but I was able to fill in the hole from the pin and my little butchering of the lug with JB Weld. I then had to finish the tip of the barrel because there was no finish on it.

What kind of forearm that you have the tango down grip on? Looks nice.

It isn't hard but it is time consuming. Use a dremel and go slow!
