The gun gods must have been speaking to me today. Called around and found one shop that had just gotten one in and hadn't even put it on their books yet. An MP5 clone has been one of my top dream guns for a long time, feels good to have an HK version.

Got ahold of an E93 sling and older Surefire handguard with an LM2B lamp. I’d say this baby is complete for the time being.

Here's mine at the moment. Iv'e had the VP9 for a 3 or 4 years and is my nightstand gun. Iv'e had the PTR for a couple of years and enjoy it. I just got the SP5 this past January and I'm loving it. I had thought about making the PTR a SBR but now I may sell it since I have the SP5. And I don't want the SBR the SP5 because I want to keep it all German. Oh, who am I kidding...I'm not selling the PTR...

Some assembly still required. MP5 was built and learned a lot of what not to do on the next one. She runs and looks decent from 20’ but when you get right up on her you can tell a crime may have been committed. I have a second build in process using a good receiver flat and better weldments.
G3K is on its second rendition of receiver. The first build worked but she was ugly. I also had gotten mixed up between MM and Inch bolt gap measurements so I had to do new rollers to get the gap back out away from the minimum. The 33 I found a front end here and sourcing the rest of her one piece at a time. I’m waiting on the bolt group/rollers to get here to verify gap before welding.  A little work with the mandrel today to get them in shape.  |

Help!
I'm doing a Form 1, does anyone here know the overall length of a AP5-P with B&T folding stock? I don't haver the stock yet so Idk the answer ..Edit to add: the receiver is stamped "MKE" but there's no MKE under the mfg drop down menu on eForm 1. I only see MKEK Mechanical and Chemical,which I know is MKE, so should I select that? And after choosing MKEK as the mfg I don't see "AP5-P" under the model drop down menu. I only see AP5.. Last I checked with ATF I know they want exactly what's engraved on the receiver. What should I do?? |
