DSA inc has HK33/93 kits running for around $375. I think that all you need is to purchase a mp5 handguard and have a smith like ORF or investment grade put it together. O almost forgot Vectors has a hk reciever and the whole rifle also.

Those are HK33 kits, not the HK53 kits that I'm looking for.

Just trying to help point you in the right direction. You can modify a hk33 kit to hk 53. As for an HK53 good luck trying to find one.

I plan on a buying the Vector 53 soon. The 53 is too cool, especially the SBR version.

Never seen a 53 kit. You're going to have to get a 33 kit and have a smith chop it done, then attach it to, say, a Vector 53 reciever

SteyrAUG recently did this. I suggest contacting him. It didn't cost much more than a V53, and Steyr thought it looked better.

I guess these real HK53 kits are non-existant. I'm going to call HK USA Monday morning to get the "final word".
