Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - price check on a 1989 Belgium FN FAL

A freind of mins has a NIB belgium  FN FAL he got back in 89.
He has 2 of them, one used and one new.  

What is the value of these fine rifles?


I want to give him a fair market price for them.
He is a friend and in dire need for some cash.

He also has a ton of other stuff for sale.

2 uzi pistols, sequential serial numbers.

1911, colt gold cup

sig 550

etc...

any info will be great

here is a Belgium FAL PARA on Gunsamerica for $2800.

All matching serials #s, NIB, I would expect to pay somewhere between $2000-$3000. I would love an original Belgium FN FAL. Truly a magnificent weapon. The used one, I have no idea.


You will likely get more expert opinions on FALFILES.COM than here.

Assuming these are type III receiver, late model FAL's: fair price for quick sale, used $1700-$1900. NIB $2500-$2700.
More details, such as importer, accesories if any, will help to determine value.
