Any idea what the going rate for a like new complete BCG from a Mod2 upper?
Link Posted: 3/3/2023 9:31:08 PM EDT

I’d say about $250-300 for a single ejector e3 standard finish bcg

Pretty sure you can get 500$ easy, no field repair kits around, carriers are 100 and the bolts worth 300 all day..

I’d agree with this for a complete like-new take-off E3 BCG

I was cleaning out my parts boxes and am wondering what the following items are worth?

KAC SR-25 Free Floating Rail Adaptor System PN 98513 (It has never been mounted) but it missing its alignment pins and the mounting ring is not new and is painted (Barrel nut is also present an never been installed on an upper).

KAC M4 RIS (In 85-90% condition) Lower handguard heat shield rattles (pretty common on them). Used from about 1995 +/- until 2002 by then the M5 RAS was the main issue piece. Also it does not have any rail panels. If memory serves this was the first SOPMOD rail for the M4 series.

KAC NT-4 Flash Hider (mid era style: late-90's/early 00's to about 2012+/-) used with paint on it and no shims.

Thanks for any help

Bringing this to the top.

7.62 MAMS. This is the 5/8 thread pitch, originally made for the SR30 or other .308 uppers with that thread.

Armorer who removed it states it is Long Tine.

I found it on an old upper. Professionally installed and removed, never fired and no packaging. Perfect condition.

I see one for sale that's NIP and is North of $1,400. That's a seems a bit high to me.

Thanks.

The most recent verifiable sales of new-in-package long tine MAMS sold in the $950 range and those were the KAC SR25 3/4 thread.

Sales have definitely slowed down recently and a 5/8 thread device is typically harder to move as less people are looking for them.

I’d ballpark an installed/removed 5/8 thread MAMS with no packing around $750-$800

What's a good price on a KAC 2-stage trigger, NPT with just the shoe parked? Couple of hundred or is this the high dollar one?

The high-dollar one is the one with the chrome/polished shoe.

Well those MSRP for 320 and can be found for less.

The older triggers(all parked) seem to have mooned in price now. A NIB one went for $1,125. I haven't seen a used one sell recently so I don't know what a reasonable price is there but it may well be higher than the MSRP of the new ones at this point.

What are AAC marked 13.5" 3.1s going for now? This one has heatshield, was never installed but has some slight handling marks and new barrel nut.

Also where's the market on 10.75" 3.1's (not AAC). Excellent used condition, Cerakoted Magpul FDE.

What's the going rate for Mod 2 rifles in 16"?  I have a black and FDE one and maybe selling one to partially fund a M249s.   Both have the standard bolt and not the newer version.

If you're looking to sell something for the most you can, is GB really the only outlet?

I hate to resort to GB (I see they even charge buyers a 1% fee now and force tax collection) but it really seems to me the difference between what something sells for here and there is enormous.

I put a clean freefloat RAS II in the EE for $455 and haven’t had any hits yet. Am I off base?

Yes.

250-300 is the current price range based on what I've seen actually sell.

It's not a tremendously popular rail and it wasn't ever issued.

SR30’s.
I know they are out of stock everywhere. I see prices of $2600’ish to $3100’ish for an SBR if they were in stock. They are still in production. Do these really command much more than than that pieced together, SR30 lower and SR30 upper??

The lowers haven't been discontinued, but the SR30 uppers have been.  That said, my understanding is KAC has been fulfilling preexisting orders for the SR30 uppers (and maybe the full SBR).  At some point, that will stop...so some of the secondary market prices you're seeing is b/c the SBR and SR30 Uppers won't be produced for much longer.

I don't follow prices on the SR30 that much.  I suspect uppers are probably in the $3500 range and lowers are $1500-$1800...but that is just a guess.  And keep in mind the ONLY difference between a SR15 and SR30 lower is the stamping "SR15" vs. "SR30".

Yep, you were right.

The difference between the EE and GB sure was night and day.

There must be many, many people just searching there for KAC stuff every day.

It might just be that KAC has mainstream exposure these days, certainly more so than 10 years ago.

There are plenty of people looking for KAC stuff here on the EE all the time.

Anything cool that gets priced close to reasonable goes fast as in sometimes within minutes.  If you want to charge double, triple or more than what it actually cost you, then GB is were to go.

What would a fair price be for a:

NIB SR15 Mod 2 11.5” upper with KAC iron sights, BCM MK2 receiver, Surefire 3 prong flash hider, and Radian Raptor SD charging handle.

Factory KAC receiver was swapped out with NIB BCM MK2 receiver (purchased stripped from BCM when they were first released).  Receiver swap and muzzle device install was done by Presample Depot.

Just trying to get a ballpark idea of a fair price in the event I decide to let it go.

i'd think 1100-1300.

the market is a buyers one. especially with how bad the bs brace ban has been.
