First is anyone familiar with the arlington ordinance conversion, good to go or steer clear of in a garand??

What would this rifle be approx worth? Serial is lower 100000 range, bore is good, rifling is great according to seller, has one small crack in the wood in front of the receiver.

ETA- Does it still use the regular garand clips? I'd assume so.

Any idea on the loads for it, how hot would be to hot etc., or is any factory ammo ok to use?

Anything else to look for? I'm considering getting it but the conversion has me a little leery yet, hoping it's nothing to worry about.

Yes it will use a standard Enbloc.

Ammo: Same rules apply, no super hot commercial hunting ammo, surplus or new production M80 clones OK. Handload using service rifle section of reloading manual for 7.62Nato / 308 taking into count if you are using military or commercial brass.
