Front sight? There's a bayonet lug on the M14/M1A flash suppressor. The front sight mounts on it too. These were lug-less for 10 years during the Clinton-era "ban" and are common parts.

Guess I wasn't very clear. The whole assembly was what I was thinking. Forgot they chopped the bayonet mount off too. I had one but tossed it thinking I'd never need it. Going to mount the whole assembly on a mini 14 and wanted to use one with no flash hider as the barrel is threaded for one. Hate to cute up a good one. But if the chopped flash hiders had no bayonet mount that won't work as I want one. I have a spare one now. I'd have to make a custom castle nut or thread the inside of the housing.
