Hello:  Does anyone know if you can just change out the front sight and still use the regular rear sight or do you have to use the enlarged rear apperature?  Any help would be great.  Thanks, John

Judging from the XS front sight on my SOCOM I would say you wouldn't really need to have a large aperature rear sight. The large rear sight would be an advantage at short range though.
