Ok. Went shooting this past weekend and the magazine catch broke off the trigger housing. One of the guys says that the piece can be welded back on. It appears to be aluminum. I'm always leery about welding aluminum, plus the piece is so small (relatively).

My question is that; I see trigger housings here and there for $50-60. Which ones do you recommend? Where can I get some nice Iver Johnson trigger housings?

Is there a trigger housing that would qualify as an "upgrade"?

thanks in advance,

dan

DUDE, give it a rest. You've bumped this up 3 times in an hour-have you bothered to think that a lot of people may be at work and you may get better results tonight??
If your that concerned about it, check Numerich Arms (AKA-Gun Parts Corporation). They frequently have Iver Johnson and Universal M1 carbine parts.
