It will work, but it'll feel and look like a brick out there.  Also, the point of view is really high, your cheekweld will not exist.  I much more prefer an aimpoint in a low mount on the scout instead of an eotech, and I have only eotechs on my AR's.

I happen to prefer the EOTech out front on the Scout mount.

I used the Aimpoint in the same location and it worked as advertised.



LaRue makes a low ring for the Aimpoint - I think I would like it better than the ARMS mount I had.
