Gentlemen,

How about that many in your gun room. One thing I would like to ask if I may. What are they doing to our M1 Garands ?

Gentlemen,

Many of you had the answer or were very close. The answer to the photo above shows the following:

These M1 Garand Rifles are being checked and greasing the rifles is done by hand.

Time frame about 1943 ?

Take a look at the next file.

Ok, so maybe it the Japanese preparing the rifles for issue...their copy of the M1 Garand?
