What is the correct original rate of twist for M14 rifle barrels?  Is it 1/12" or 1/11", I am not refering to the National Match Barrels but standard rack grade barrels.

Neither, it was a 1 in 10" twist.

I have owned 2 M1As with USGI barrels. One Winchester and one TRW. Both were made in 1963. Both are chrome lined and both are 1:10 twist.
