Finished watching 'Thin Red line'. Tons of M1 Garand action there, complete with the SPROING! noise whenever an M1 goes hungry.

I couldn't stand 'The Thin Red Line' at all.. movies like "The Big Red 1' and 'Band of Brothers' and 'Saving Private Ryan' are a LOT better movies and show excelent Garand use.

yes, they do!
It's the empty clip (a garand actually holds clips with (usually)8 rounds), and it gets ejected after the last round!
