Hello folks, this is my first time posting in this particular forum but I've been a lurker on ARF for some time now. Well I finally found and bought the perfect stock for my M1A so I thought I'd share. I tried the Sage and few McMillans (M2A, M3A and the MFS-14) but none felt 100% "right" or had the features I wanted. So there I am roaming around SAR and just randomly found this stock. Never heard of the company but knew the vendor (50BMGstore). I played around with the prototypes and loved it so I ordered it on the spot.

It has and adjustable LOP and cheekweld (both via spacers), bottom rail and various sling mount point. The receiver actually gets "hardwired" into the stock's internal alloy frame via two titanium plates. The trigger group does not retain the upper, it only attaches to it and holds itself on. The ergonomics on the stock are great...very well thought out. Magazines fit easily (flared magwell) too. The only issue I've had is that the stock and my old SEI scope mount don't want to play nice. A little grinding of the scope mount will make it fit but hopefully, future runs of the stock will correct that little issue.

The stock comes in three colors: Black, some sort of ODish Green and Grey. Guess I'll need to break out with the Duracoat so I can colormatch my handguard. The stock is called the JAE100 made by J. Allen Enterprises (they don't have a website yet). You can contact the 50BMGstore.com for more info (I don't work for either JAE or 50BMGstore nor do I have any business associations with them. I'm just a customer!)

Well, here's the only photo I have of it so far...gotta get the scope mount on there!

The stock is $599 and there is a 4 week wait for them. The range report will take a little bit as I need to figure out the scope mounting issue. There is a full alloy bed inside the stock which uses titanium side plates that hardmount the receiver to the bedding WITHOUT relying on the trigger housing. The trigger housing just holds itself onto the receiver. The outside is some sort of composit with a rubberish insert on the palmswell.

The only option available for now is the color. There is NO more info on the net...they're just that new.

As for the cheekpiece, there are a few spacers already under there which is why it's as high as it is (and it comes with more spacers for the cheekpiece and the LOP). I SPECIFICALLY bought the stock to use for scoped applications but it looks like if you removed all the spacers and set the cheekrest at the lowest setting that iron sights will probably work. I can compare it to a standard M1A stock later tonight.

What's the weight compared to a GI synthetic stock?

Did the bipod come with the stock or did you add that on yourself?

And can you post some more pictures?

I was at the SAR show and I saw that stock. You get 10 times the stock vs Mcripoff. This stock will make me get off the fence and buy a M1A. I have M1Grand so could not justify the M1A untill now.

Sounds like an advertisement to me..........

So who do we call to get one of these?

Wonder if SMGLee saw them at the SAR Show in AZ.

I got to handle a rifle exactly like that today at one of our local shops,it had a springfield scope mount and a IOR scope on it,

Very nice rig, think the price was around 2100.00 dollars for a loaded model springfield,no scope, rings,or mount.

They have the stock's for sale at 600.00.

Definetly was one of the nicest stocks I've had the pleasure of fondling for the M1A,the rifle I held weighed in at 15 lbs without a full mag.

If I had unlimited funds it would be cool to have but honestly,I don't see how it would improve accuracy
if your allready good with your open sights, sure it would make a nice sniper type platform though.

Toyotaman - Sorry, I don't have the exact weight but it was a little heavier than my wood stock (with all the USGI metal). The bipod/podloc/arms did NOT come with the stock (that's about $180 alone!)

I agree with paulmall in that it's a LOT more stock for the money compared to McMillan. I always thought McM stocks were pretty overpriced, especially by the time you bedded the stock. I was VERY close to buying a McM stock (they're not too far from me) and I have checked out all of their stocks (including a custom lightweight carbon fiber M1A stock) but something inside me just told me to wait. Glad I did! his
bthp223 - the accuracy should improve in the same way that bedding a M1A improves accuracy because that what the internal alloy chassis system does. I bought this specifically to make my NM M1A into a scoped precision rifle platform. As soon as I get the scope mount issue resolved, this M1A will be wearing a SEI mount, Badger rings and USO ST-10. I have a scout with a Aimpoint M2 to use as a 'beater' M1A. Here

Will that stock accomodate a heavy barrel?
