My first Garand (WWII 43' correct parts) and I'm hooked. I picked it up on the 24th. Of all my rifles this is already my favorite!!! Garands are awesome! Thanks Dave for convincing me to buy a Garand!

Ammo is headstamped "RA 43" and the clip has "WP 43" (untouched brand new issue, other than me), thanks to my friend John. Heres another pic of the rifle!

Same here - I sold an AK parts kit on the EE and was able to take the money (ples a little more) and pick up a Rack Grade from my neighbor. It is a 1.3M with a 1950 barrel (Danish return). I had peened the barrel, and my neighbor crowned it and it now shoots extremely well - I'm proud to have it in my collection. |
